What if you didn’t have to waste time or money in the grocery store?
Here are some of my favorite homemade versions of kitchen staples.
They are cheaper, healthier, and taste much better than the traditional store bought items.
Here are my top 5 Items with the recipes right at your finger tips!
- Almond Butter -Homemade nut butters eliminate the need for crazy preservatives and over-the-top fat and salt content. Just grind those nuts up for any variety of nut butter imaginable!
- Beef Bone Broth – Real broth packs more flavor and nutrients per spoonful than boxed broth. Just toss some veggies and bones in a pot, and you’ll be well on your way to your first batch of homemade broth
- Protein Bars -Protein bars Homemade protein bars are inevitably cheaper because you are doing all the work – you just need to buy the ingredients. Also, by making them in batches, you will save even more money – your very own bulk discount!
- Hummus – Sure, store bought hummus is delicious and super convenient, but have you ever thought that hummus can taste better than that? Even better it is better for our wallets too ..
- Salad Dressing – toss some olive oil and balsamic vinegar into mason jar. It’ll get out those last drops of flavor from the mustard and serve as a simple storage container for the dressing. Not to mention it’s cheaper
