One of the athletes at CrossFit 818 where I coach recently sent me this great article on the benefits that interval training has with endurance athletes.
The traditional endurance athlete had the mindset of “more, more, more” = success. Now research is showing that less is actually more beneficial for your body.
The research shows, that the LSD (long slow distance), training is leaving athletes over trained and injured.
With interval training you are training harder and smarter for your event, and the success is showing in their performance.
