So I always love coming out with healthy “Fit” alternatives to delicious treats that are not the best for our waistline.
My dear friend LOVES Butterscotch and what goes better with butterscotch than a warm cup of joe.
Here is a great recipe that is easy, delicious, and good for you!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Fresh Strongly Brewed Coffee
3/4 cup of Milk coconut creamer or nut milk (you can use unsweetened vanilla cashew, almond, or coconut)
2 tablespoons of Butterscotch Chips
1/2 teaspoon of Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp of stevia
Directions:
First, brew some coffee.
Next, add butterscotch chips, vanilla, stevia except coffee, into microwave safe cup or bowl.
Heat the milk in the microwave on high for 1 minute, then in 30 second intervals until it is hot but not boiling. It will be about 2 minutes total. You could also heat in a saucepan over low heat.
Then, add the milk mixture and coffee to a blender. Blend for 5 to 10 seconds
Pour your latte into a mug and heat again for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
If you want it iced put ice in a glass to the top and pour coffee over and serve.
