The most beloved sandwich is the PB&J. Here is a health alternative that not only tastes delicious but can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
3 tbsp almond flour
1 tbsp of coconut flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp coconut creamer (or full fat coconut milk)
3 tbsp nut butter ( I used almond butter)
1/2 scoop of vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder
1 tablespoon of frozen berries ( you can use strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries).
*Optional 1 tbsp of mashed banana, and 1 tbsp of unsweetened shredded coconut
DIRECTIONS:
I used a 14 ounce mug. First place flours protein powder, and baking soda in the mug. Next add nut butter, coconut creamer, berries, and mashed bananas. Top with coconut.
Microwave on high for 90 seconds. If it is not cooked through stir and continue to microwave for additional increments of 30 seconds.
