We are all wondering what to do with those delicious Thanksgiving Leftovers .. Don’t worry you don’t have to let them go to waste. Here is a soup recipe that you can use most all of the left over delights. The best part is .. it tastes delicious too!
Ingredients:
3 cups chicken broth
1 cup of coconut half and half unsweetened or full fat coconut milk
1 cup of sliced carrots
1 cup of diced celery
1 cup onion diced
4 cups left over turkey meat
2 cloves garlic, smashed
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cups leftover green beans, brussel sprouts, broccoli etc …
1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
3 cups mashed potatoes
1/2 cup grated Parmesan (optional)
1/2 cup of almond flour
1/4 cup grass fed butter
Directions:
In a large slow cooker combine, turkey, chopped carrots, celery and onions, along with the green beans and or veggie mix.
Next add chicken broth, coconut creamer, mashed potatoes, butter, olive oil, garlic and sage.
Last Top with Almond Flour and parmesan cheese.
Cook on low 6-8 hours stirring once or twice throughout.
