This is a great “whey” to get your morning started off right, especially with the weather getting warmer!
I have had a lot of smoothie requests and this is a great one to add in!
Ingredients:
5 slices of frozen banana pieces (instructions at the bottom of the page)
8 oz of unsweetened vanilla almond milk ( you can use coconut milk as well)
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
dash of cinnamon
5 -6 ice cubes
Directions:
Place ice cubes in the blender with almond milk, banana, vanilla, cinnamon, and whey protein powder.
Blend until consistency is thick but smooth throughout.
*For Frozen Bananas peel banana ( I usual cut 4 or 5 at a time), slice banana into 1′ rounds and place in a ziploc baggie and freeze.
