Here is a fantastic dessert choice that is fantastic as a meal finisher, a gift, or to eat just because they are delicious.
Make sure to give one to the one you are eyeing and they will be eating out of the palm of your hand (especially for seconds)!
Ingredients
1 bag Dark chocolate Hershey’s
1/2 cup grass-fed butter
3/4 cup Creamy Sun Butter or Raw Almond Butter
1 cup palm sugar
1/4 cup of honey or agave nectar
1 egg
2 tablespoons half n half or soylicious vanilla coconut creamer
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons red color
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1-1/2 cups almond or coconut flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt palm sugar
*optional 1 scoop of vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder (It adds such great taste and helps the cookies stay together too).
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Beat butter and sun butter or raw almond butter with a mixer until well blended. Add 1 cup palm sugar, protein powder, and honey or agave; beat until fluffy. Add egg, milk, vanilla, and red food coloring and beat well (at least 2 minutes). Stir together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt and gradually beat into butter mixture.
Place dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in palm sugar (or use red and white sprinkles too), and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. In the mean time remove the wrappers from the dark Hershey. Immediately press a Hershey into the center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Cool completely before serving.
