The tragic event that occurred at the Boston Marathon this past Sunday is so disheartening and sad.
The event injured 100s and took the lives of 3, is heart wrenching and very sad for many athletes all over the world!
What is the world coming to when we as a nation can’t even go for historic 26.2 mile run without feeling unsafe. More than that, these runners have trained so hard and were so dedicated and a single act of violence took the pure joy of crossing that finish line away!
In honor of all these amazing athletes and to keep the running community “strong” in this troubling time, “Shape” magazine set up a charity event titled “#RunForBoston.
They created this cause to challenge ourselves to focus on “why we’re running and who we’re running for”.
So Today, and every day, when you put your running shoes and the feet hit the pavement remember to run every mile for Boston and the brave individuals involved in helping with the tragic event.
