With a new season upon us its a great time to find a new focus get realigned and feeling good for Fall. If your feeling “a little under the weather” or even overwhelmed or stress, taking time to practice these poses below will be the best thing for your mind and your body.
Here are my favorite transitional poses for the Fall season to keep you feeling great on the inside and out!
#1 Standing Forward Fold: Focus on grounding the legs and feet; also use breath and Uddiyana Bandha to go allow the body to go deeper into the pose to relax the nervous system.
2. Warrior 2: Find stillness in this grounding standing pose. Root down through both feet with equal pressure, while radiating outward through your fingertips, crown, and tail. Stay here for 5 long, slow, full breaths. Shift into Warrior II over your left leg and repeat.
#3 Sun Salutations will also warm the body during the chilly Autumn months.
#4 Standing Forward Bend: Focus on grounding the legs and feet; also use breath and allow the body to go deeper into the pose to relax the nervous system.
