I saw Starbucks just released their new holiday Maple Pecan Latte. Although it sounded delicious, I knew it would not leave my stomach feeling the same.
So I created my own version and it was so Yummy!
Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk or cashew milk (I used cashew milk)
½ cup brewed coffee
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 of cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon butter & nut extract
1/2 to 1 tablespoon Grade A, B, or Pure Maple Syrup
sprinkle pecan pieces
Directions:
To a pan on medium heat, add almond milk and warm it a little.
To that add brewed coffee, ground ginger, all spice, nutmeg, extracts, and maple syrup.
Stir till combine.
Serve hot and top with pecan pieces to taste and for added deliciousness coconut whipped cream.
