There is nothing better than the warm summer weather and sitting on your patio or deck and having a nice refreshing cocktail, but soon those cocktail calories can really add up.
Now you can enjoy your 4th of July holiday and need feel hungover or bloated the day after from all the sugar! If you choose to drink every drink on this list, then I can’t guarantee you will feel great the next day!
Here is a great way to have fun and look fantastic in your swim suit!
#1 For the Fourth:
2 oz of pinapple vodka
splash of Blue Curacao
Coconut flavored La Croix with a cherry garnish
#2 Mellorita:
2 ounces of Silver Tequila
2 cucumber slices
1 ounce of fresh lime
1 jalapeno slice
soda water
splash of Grand Marnier (optional)
Chili lime salted rim
lime garnish
#3 Summer White Sangria:
1-2 Bottles of a crisp white wine ( I like a Pinot Grigio mixed with a Rose). 1 Bottle of a sparkling white wine.
2 peaches sliced
1 pint of raspberries
1 cup of strawberries (cut in halves)
several sprigs of mint
1/2 cup of blackberries
1 liter of peach flavored water ( I use the walmart brand)
Directions:
In a large glass pitcher place the mint sprigs with the raspberries and blackberries and muddle till crushed. Then pour in the bottles of wine and sparkling wine and stir. Next pour in the flavored water followed by the peaches and strawberry halves. With a large wooden spoon stir until mixed throughout and serve.
#4 Summer Mojito:
2 oz of Bacardi raspberry (you can use regular Bacardi silver too)
Fresh Mint (muddled)
Fresh Raspberries (muddled)
Splash of Lemon sparkling water
squeeze of fresh lemon, lime, orange or all three.
Directions:
In a glass muddle the mint leaves. Next pour in the Bacardi and sparkling water and top with fresh squeezed fruit.
#5 Summer Sunrise Cocktail:
2 ounces of citrus vodka
1 ounce of lite orange juice
1 ounce of champagne
1 orange peel
