The warmer weather is starting to appear, and with warmer weather your body tends to crave cool refreshing treats.
Who doesn’t enjoy the taste of some yummy chocolate ice cream?
This recipe is not only delicious but easy to make too!
Ingredients:
1 14 oz. can full-fat coconut milk
¼ cup + 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ cup honey (or maple syrup, for vegans)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
*Optional toppings cacao nibs or chips and/or unsweetened coconut flakes
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender, and blend until smooth and creamy.
Place in a freezer-safe container. Place in the freezer for 4-6 hours, or until firm.
You can remove from the freezer and thaw for about 10 minutes and top with optional toppings.
