August is National Peach Month. Here is a great way to put those delicious peaches to good work!
Ingredients:
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
3 peaches, halved and pitted
Coconut Oil
12 thin slices proscuitto
8 basil leaves, cut into thin ribbons
Directions:
Put the balsamic in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over high heat. Cook until thick stir in the honey and season with cinnamon. Let cool slightly.
Brush the peach halves with coconut oil and place basil leave and wrap it with1/2 proscuitto and repeat for all the peaches. Top peaches with balsamic glaze and place a small toothpick to hold the combination together.
