Sleep – a condition of body and mind such as that which typically recurs for several hours every night, in which the nervous system is relatively inactive, the eyes closed, the postural muscles relaxed, and consciousness practically suspended
You notice even in the definition of sleep it says “Several Hours Every Night”. So why as a society are we sleeping less and less hours and putting mindless television, video games, computers, kindles etc … In front of one of the most beneficial components for our health!
We are as a nation becoming more and more unhealthy the more and more that is offered to us. We continue to let our activities get in the way of our sleep and the results show!
