Wikipedia’s Definition of a Mantra states:

Not that long ago, if you were to ask me what my “mantra” was, I would have explained to you that I do not practice yoga and that I do not have one that I go by.
But recently my HUSBAND went to a personal development seminar and when he returned he was explaining that THE SPEAKER (who is the furthest thing from a yogie that you could be) was talking about the importance of a Mantra. He had one and every morning when he woke up he would repeat it to himself. When he was in positions that were difficult and he didn’t think he would make it, he would begin to tune out the “I cannot” in his head with mantra in which he believed for his practice and by practice I am referring to his life and his situations.
When I asked my husband what his Mantra was (thinking he would have to take out a piece of paper, or tell me he was working on it), blurted out a sequence that come out with fluidity, confidence, and purpose. I was shocked (first that I did not know he had this), and second that it was so ingrained in his brain and ready to be switched on whenever he needed it to be!
So what was my Mantra? What was my purpose in living each day to my full potential? What did I want to ultimately accomplish in my life when my mind and body did not want to do it!
and here is what I came up with:
“I am a Courageous, Powerful, Ambitious Women that will Empower, teach, and influence daily, and knowing I can and will because with God All things are Possible in my life! ”
Already this has really helped in my life. I started a 30 day challenge and have really faced some obstacles, but when I want to quit I read this and it reminds me of who I am and the direction I want to go, and most importantly that I am not in this alone.
It lets the negative noise in your head shut off and give you a powerful positive outlook and the person that you know you can ultimately be and gets you to that next step!
