I love sitting out in the backyard or on the patio on the weekends or summer nights with a little treat. I love to find fruits that are in season and then make fun summer cocktails with them!
Here is a great cocktail that is delicious and low in calories too! Now your summer nights will be that much more enjoyable.
Ingredients:
3 lbs of watermelon
2 tablespoons of fresh mint
1 tablespoon of agave nectar
1 1/2 cups of lime flavored soda water
1/4 cup of tequila
ice cubes
1/4 cup of fresh squeezed lemon
Directions:
Mix watermelon in a food processor until consistency is puree like. Muddle mint with agave in a large pitcher; fill with ice cubes. Stir in 2 cups watermelon, soda water, tequila, and lemon juice.
Garnish with fresh mint.
* For the mocktail version skip the tequila!
Enjoy!
