Now that Spring has finally arrived and the Sun is blazing … we can enjoy the fruits of Vitamin D and warmth in the air!
Here are some fun events to take with you this weekend that are inexpensive and leave you happy and healthy!
- Go to the Park – One of my favorite things about parks is how many fun things you can do at them. You can BBQ, Play, Do Yoga, Relax in the Sun, or Have a Picnic.
- Go for a Hike – When I am craving some meditation time, vitamin D, breathe some fresh air, and it’s amazing how much you’ll notice about your surroundings when you get to take time to enjoy the view!
- Take Your Dog for a Stroll – Studies have shown that taking a walk with your dog lowers your stress—and dogs will listen to you no matter how long you rant for or how many times you just ‘can’t even deal! Nothing beats spending time with your favorite four-legged friend
- Go to the Farmers Market – Go down to your local farmers market, support local business, and get some delicious home grown produce to take home to the family!
- Go Plant Your Garden – Gardening is a major de-stresser and allows for a relaxing and productive sunny day activity. Whether you plant sunflowers or peppers, it’s satisfying to keep track of their progress and watch them grow.
