Literally there are so many wonderful exercised you can do in your bedroom with your own body.
Here are the top 5 that will give you a total body workout.
#1 The Pushup With hands shoulder-width apart, keep the feet flexed at hip distance, and tighten the core. Bend the elbows until the chest reaches the ground, and then push back up Make sure your shoulders are over your wrists and your low back does not droop.
#2 The Squat – stand with the feet hip distance apart turned out 15 degrees or pointing straight ahead—whatever is most comfortable. Slowly start to crouch by bending the hips and knees as if you are sitting in the tiniest chair possible until you are below parallel. Make sure the heels do not rise off the floor. Press through the heels to return to a standing position.
#3 The Situp – Lie on your back with the knees bent towards chest and feet flat on the floor. With hands behind the head, or to your side, place the chin down slightly and peel the head and shoulders off the mat while engaging the core. Continue up until your chest reaches your knee and then extend back down until your shoulder blades hit the floor.
#4 Jumping Jacks – Stand upright with your feet together and your arms by your sides. Move feet out, arms overhead In one jumping motion, move your feet out to the sides until they’re approximately shoulder width apart. At the same time, arc you arms overhead until your hands touch. Make sure to breath through the motion.
#5 Mountain Climbers Starting on your hands and knees, bring the left foot forward directly under the chest while straightening the right leg. Keeping the hands on the ground and core tight, jump and switch legs. The left leg should now be extended behind the body with the right knee forward.
Now you have NO excuses to not be active each day. You can do these in different variations .. Here are some good ones to keep in your wheel house:
#1 5 rds
10 of pushup, situp, mountain climber, squat followed by 50 Jumping Jacks.
# 2 Tabata each exercise
8 rds of 20 seconds on 10 sec rest of each exercise.
#3 50 of each exercise
#4 1 min of each exercise (repeat 3-5 times)
# 5 50-40-30-20-10
