It is very easy to go through life living in your “daily routine”. You get up you brush your teeth, you get your coffee, you take a shower, you get ready for work, you drive to work, you get into your office answer emails, complete daily tasks, go to lunch, come back finish daily tasks, drive home, cook dinner, watch t.v., go to bed.
For how many of us does this sound familiar and we can go days upon months upon years living in this habitual lifestyle but why?
Recently I watched a great Ted talk from the author Elizabeth Gilbert who wrote “Eat, Pray, Love”. She spoke about finding your why (or she used the term “home’). Think about how much more fulfilling your day would be if you had a purpose and a super “why” or passion added to it.
Don’t make this more complex than it has to be, if could be simple things like volunteering, gardening, or working out. It doesn’t have to take away from your daily lives it should just add so much more to it.
When you live at “home” you have a purpose and a drive to get better. You are now focused on fulfilling your passion instead of the negative thoughts that can side track us from who we are and what we want.
I challenge you Fit Ones to find your “home” and write down your super why for your life. This might not come from pen to paper you might have to do a little soul searching and digging. You might even need to try some new out of the box things. There is a world of opportunity, adventure, and hobbies, we just have to find which one fits us.
I will start with my “home” to help women believe they are beautiful and be proud of who they are, where they came from, and where they are going!
What are some of yours?
