Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond or coconut flour
- 1/2 cup palm sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons melted grass-fed butter
- 1 1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
Crumb Topping:
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup palm sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 cup softened grass-fed butter
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt
Add milk, egg, and melted butter; beat 2 minutes.
Then add the fresh strawberries; mix throughout and Spoon batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan.
Combine 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, and softened butter until mixture resembles crumbs (if it does not add a little more almond flour).
Sprinkle crumb topping over the strawberries.
Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Serves 8.
