Starting your day off right with a healthy. This recipe has protein, veggies, and good healthy fats to give you the jump start to the day that you need!
Ingredients:
1 pound extra lean ground turkey
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 cup diced onion
dash of black pepper
9 egg whites
3 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla cashew milk
1/2 tsp of creole seasoning
2 cloves of garlic
2 cups spinach
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat an 8- x 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Coat a skillet with olive oil or coconut oil cooking spray and cook over medium heat the turkey, bell peppers, onions, salt, and black pepper for 4-5 minutes, or until turkey is no longer pink. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the egg whites, eggs, milk, creole seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir in spinach and meat mixture. Pour into baking dish.
Bake 30-35 minutes, or until egg is set. Cut into squares and serve immediately.
You can store in ziploc baggies and in the am grab and go so you have breakfast right at your finger tips.
