Ingredients:
2 6 ounce Halibut Filets
dash of salt and pepper
2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup of white wine
2 tablespoon of melted coconut oil
1 tablespoon of cilantro
the juice from 1 lime
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees
Lightly oil with olive or coconut oil. Over high heat, sear each side of the halibut filets for one minute each.
Remove halibut from pan and turn heat down to medium. Add coconut oil and garlic to pan and cook for 2 minutes. Add wine, cilantro, lime juice , and salt and pepper to the pan and heat until hot but not boiling.
Remove sauce from heat and baste fish on both sides.
Place halibut on a baking sheet and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or lightly browned on top.
