YOU DO!
Whenever I feel down or I am wallowing in my “poor me” pool. I think about all the things and opportunities I have to be thankful for in my life.
I always think about all the millions of people who don’t have a wardrobe to choose from, or who have had it much harder and come out bigger and stronger despite their deficits.
My husband surprised me this past week with a “Book of Thankfulness”. For the past two years, everyday he would right down something about me that made him thankful. It was the most amazing gift anyone has ever given to me and made me see that in any situation (even as hard as it may seem) we can always be thankful!.
You can do this exercise with yourself or someone close to you. The goal is for 90 days straight each day you right down something that makes you thankful and why.
When you do this you allow your brain to focus on all the wonderful things you have to look forward to each day and it keeps a great perspective on where we are at.
So Fit Ones I challenge you for the next 90 days to start a “thankful” journal, and see how your whole perspective begins to change.
