Here is a delicious Ice Cream that not only tastes delicious it is good for you too!
The kids that I train love it, and my 9 year sister and husband beg for it!
There are a few different ways to make it, so you can have different flavors and change it up from time to time.
The Fit Chic Original Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 frozen banana cut into pieces
1 tablespoon of sun butter or Raw Almond Butter
a teaspoon of honey
cinnamon to taste
a scoop of vanilla whey protein powder (optional)
a teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (optional for chocolate lovers)
In a mixer combine all milk, bananas, peanut butter (sun butter), cinnamon, and vanilla and/or cocoa if desired. Mix on high until ingredients is an ice cream consistency.
Serve
If you want that crunch you can add walnuts, pecans, etc…
For Strawberry Ice Cream add the same ingredients, but add frozen strawberries instead or with the bananas and do not add the peanut butter, cinnamon, or cocoa powder (unless you like a chocolate strawberry mix).
Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream:
1 3/4 cups Coconut Milk Light
2 cups Blueberries (frozen)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 tablespoons of unsweetened coconut flakes
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream:
1 can coconut milk
1/4 cup raw honey
2 egg yolks
2 ounces 72% chocolate
1 tsp peppermint extract
2-3 drops green food coloring (optional)
